News - GDC Awards 2021 : The Last of Us: Part II führt die Nominierten an

Die nächste größere Preisverleihung steht bevor: die Game Developers Choice Awards 2021. Die Nominierten wurden nun auf der offiziellen Webseite bekannt gegeben.

The Last of Us: Part II gilt in Sachen errungener Preise als der erfolgreichste Titel aller Zeiten. Diese Position hatte zuvor The Witcher 3 inne, ehe der Naughty-Dog-Titel das Spiel von CD Projekt RED in Sachen Game of the Year Awards im Januar dieses Jahres ablöste. Jetzt kann The Last of Us: Part II den Vorsprung weiter ausbauen, denn das Action-Sequel führt die Liste der Nominierten der GDC Awards 2021 an.

Insgesamt in sechs Kategorien ist The Last of Us: Part II nominiert, darunter natürlich abermals auch in der wichtigsten Kategorie: dem Game of the Year. Ebenfalls auf sechs Nominierungen bringen es zudem das Samurai-Epos Ghost of Tsushima sowie das Indie-Darling Hades.

Die eigentliche Preisverleihung lässt nun noch etwas auf sich warten und soll per Stream am 21. Juli 2021 über die Bühne gehen. In den verschiedenen Kategorien konnten Titel nominiert werden, die im Jahr 2020 veröffentlicht wurden.
