Zum zweiten Mal wurden nun die SXSW Gaming Awards verliehen, wobei die üblichen Verdächtigen wieder einmal die Nase vorne hatten. Zu den großen Gewinnern zählte wieder Mittelerde: Mordors Schatten, das allerdings Dragon Age: Inquisition in der Kategorie "Game of the Year" den Vortritt lassen musste.
